I have some zooanthid polyps that were doing pretty well and multiplying but for the last few days they stopped opening. They are not the "deepwater" japanese type, just regular polyps from what I can tell. I did see a nudibranch in my tank and suspected them and did a coral dip just in case on all my polyps. Pulled out a fat nudibranch out of each of 3 different frags of polyps.
There were some white spots around the base of the polyp that I thought I read could be nudi eggs but when I scraped them with tweezers they didn't come off. It was like they were buried inside the polyp.
Anyone have any experience with this type of thing? or any ideas?
How many days should it take to be worried?
See pic below of before and after. It's the green polyps, the others are doing decent mostly.
