i will also be getting "computer" fans for the back of it to blow on the 8 60" t5s.... what kind should i get? 3 be enough?
what "pneumatic" thingies do i get to help raise it?

got the 1st coat of stain on the stand:

got the inside of the canopy painted:

ordered computer fans for cooling t5s..
tomorrow i will try to get another coat stain on the stand, the 1st coat stain on the canopy, trunk lifters installed on canopy, start dismantling current t5 setup on 150g...

fans done, reflectors in canopy, rodi and salt stand done, 55g drums done, bulkheads for them done, electric in fish room 90% done.
frag tank STILL LEAKING! I HATE LEAKS!! Got chris coming sometime again to fix... also still waiting on correct doors.

alot of set backs, but should get a bit done tom! goals:
get frag tank plumbed to sump
get frag tank closed loop leak fixed
fix 55g drum rodi bulkhead leak
get sump installed, return to frag tank done, manifold done
potentially start some rockwork columns
doors are on stand and look great! thanks to chris for the help!

hey man! good... im trying not to mess with too many setting til i get the rock right and finish putting in the sand.
got a couple more pieces of rock in the sump to see if i want to use them.
got to do:
finish 1/4 round on the bottom of stand to hide shims
finish poly coat on entire stand
wire ic 660s
get bulbs in
install "openers" for canopy
finish closed loop and see if i want to use the mag 18
finish patching hole in sump so i can do ato, float switches, etc
get calcium reactor
get bigger protein skimmer
set up apex
off the top of my head!)

did recently:
put CUC in all tanks
added yellowhead jawfish to main tank
will do first "big" water change today
cleaning basement/fish area

I have a octo xtreme 200. The breeder set up i am thinking is 2 29g tanks for the egg laying, and 3-4 10g for growout. I still need to do more research, but anyone have thoughts on that and using the octox for that side?

is my phyto dead? i started them both on 6/1/11 at about 2pm.. i used one faf petri dish for both (1/2 in one, 1/2 for other bottle). looks kinda pale some angles, darker others.. lmk!

what strain is your algae looks yellow instead of green? might want to increase light output I know my cultures did better when i went to a 24 hour photo period.

Any pics of your finished tank? I literally scavenged through your posts to find this build thread only to see there is no new pics :-(. I bet there are other people dying to see your tank pics. Thanks in advance.
