65 AGA build

Okay, so I broke the rock into smaller pieces today and came up with my first go at aquascaping (definitely not my strong point). I put freshwater in the tank to get some of the crap out of the rocks and in a week or so I will drain it, pull all of the rock, put the sand in and then put the rock and saltwater in. Anyway on to the pics.........

I got the sump installed.

Then, I had something a little unusual happen while running fresh water. There was no vinegar added to the tank or anything except for pure tap water and I got some skimmate!

I then drained all the freshwater and put the sand in. I got three bags of this.

Now I get to wait!

I picked up http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/405347-REG/Olympus_261053_35mm_f_3_5_Macro_ED.html">this</a> macro lens and got a couple of decent shots with my topdown photobox.

I still need some practice, but these were all right.

Thanks Thiago! The frags are doing really good; they're just taking their time encrusting. Soon hopefully.

Here's a current full tank shot.

I picked up my first Acan and a Starry Night acro from Bleedingthought and they're doing good in the new tank so far.
Here's the acan.
