It appears that my yellow tail blenny has been nipping at the base and branches of my duncan. I didn't think anything of it at first, but now I'm noticing that some of the green coating on the duncan is missing. other than that it seems as healthy as ever with good polyp extension.

should I be concerned?

my flame tail blenny nips at my acan so much that it never fully extends unless i put a feeding dome over it. "nipping at mucus" my a$s :(

Shouldn't be an issue. Duncans are fast growing and very tough. You'll be giving them away they grow so fast. At least IME they do.

thanks... that's good to know. I was sort of thinking that the blenny may be missing the algae my tank had a few months ago, since he used to really fill up on that.

You might try a bit of nori rubber banded to a rock for that.
