Build: Red Sea P500

Everything looks great, nice new frags additions too. Beautiful. I have found there is always room for one more coral. :) and congrats on finding something to get that turf algea! Tough stuff!

Update....
since I got rid of all the turf algae, I have a nutrient swing since there is no more algae to absorb all of it. I use to read zero nitrates and phosphates.

Now I’m at 10ppm Nitrates and .021-.031ppm Phosphates. I started back up GFO and Vodka/Vinegar dosing to get nutrients back down.

I had an alk swing and caused all the tips if my corals to burn off. Got things back to somewhat stable and slowly getting it back to 8-8.4 range where I had most my success.

Now onto the pics...

Added two MP40’s cause you can never have enough flow and moved the gyres to each end of the peninsula. Amazingly enough was able to get the magnet inside the overflow box.

Maxspect said the magnet is already waterproof, but I vacuum sealed it just to be sure in a food saver.

Added cali tort, pearlberry and a ice fire enchinata, picked up a homewrecker frag as well. Can’t wait for another year of reefing!
