I know, he is the only trouble maker. The clowns have started to fight back now since they host the Nem though, but he will be gone come saturday.

If you're getting ammonia readings, which it looks likes you are, I fear that bad things will happen. Ammonia is VERY toxic to fish, even in small amounts. You should be having zero readings always. With the load of fish you have, Im afraid that there is cycle that is on the horizin. Keep doing water changes, and monitor the wtaer parameters. Be prepared to do MAjority water changes (on the order of 75%).

So I woke up one night and checked the tank to notice my jawfish wandering around out of his burrow, he stated staying in the front corner of the tank behind the thermometer.:unsure:

By the time I woke up he had dug a hole all the way to the bottom.


So I added more sand and started dropping LR rubble near him. Over the period of about 1.5 weeks he had constructed his Masterpiece.:up:

He eats anything I feed him, He seems to like the Formula 2 Pellets though.

I spot feed him with a straw since I feed him more than the others.

He bites the tip of the straw while waiting for the Pellets to drop out.

So just as I think he is all happy in his newly built Burrow:doh:, I see him go behind my main rock structure.

A few hours later I see a big pile of sand forming and then...................................Peek-A-Boo
Out come his little head from a new burrow built right next to the one I made for him:shout:. I guess mine wasn't as comfy as I thought.

In the pics you can see the Kenya tree frag, with the hermit crab shell.

He, immediatly went for the Kenya tree frag and tried to use it as rubble, so I had to move it.

Its been a while, since my last update lots of changes have taken place.

My Clowns started hosting there GBTA Nem after 2 weeks. here are a few pics with the lights out the first night they found it.

Well, its been a while since I did a real update :unsure:
but if anyone has been following along there has been a lot of changes.

1st major change was, I found a new home for my Blue Spot Jawfish after I caught him attempting to go Carpet Surfing.

I also feel like my tank was a bit small for him too.
