I’m filling my first saltwater tank. I’ve watched a lot of tutorials on cycling tanks but none have mentioned checking for chlorine the water. Is that something I should be concerned with? I am using a decent RODI system. I don’t want to fill my tank with water that I should have treated. I live I Atlanta. Does anyone have any guidance?

If the RODI unit is good it will remove the chlorine, that's why no one Mentone testing for it.
But wait, there's more! Dekalb County adds chloramines to their water supply and these are much tougher to remove. I have two different carbon blocks in my RODI unit - One is the regular activated carbon and the other is one that specifically deals with chloramines. Standard carbon will remove chlorine but any chloramines that get past it will be taken up by the DI resin. Right now you're fine because the DI resin is fairly new but I would consider adding an additional chloramine specific carbon filter (assuming you don't have one already) and save yourself the $$$ of swapping out DI resin on a more regular basis.
