I have upgraded from a few large cichlids and what I thought was a large pleco at 9 inches. I now have a vibrant tank of 28 african cichlids and 4 plecos, one of which is 12 inches huge. One of the cichlids had 24 fry over the past couple days to my kids' great surprise! The house a buzz abut the baby fish. Thanks Marlon for the fish and the fish lesson!

it was all my pleasure.
once cichlids start to breed they don't stop so if the kids are happy now wait a few more weeks till they all start to breed.

it's a strong survive thing, a few weeks or a separate tank.
you do need a lot of rocks in the tank so they can hide.

My dads in his 125g just started breeding as well. Definitely means you are doing something right.

Nice work. Breeding fish are happy fish. We (AAAA) have "mini" auctions after most meetings and a Breeders Award Program (BAP) for when you need to thin the herd. On the other hand, I have a lot of empty tanks available cheap. :)
