About me? 6 weeks ago, my mom tells me she doesn't like her 36 gallon freshwater bow front. So I do a search on fish and see a cool tank pic from an ARC member and I thought obviously, "That tank looks really cool...

So I start to research on ARC, and then start reading threads on ARC nightly, and soon it became daily and nightly, and then when I'm at work on breaks, and when I wake up in the middle of the night to...

I must say that this site has taught me almost everything I know about saltwater, but Please! My newby question to you is DOES IT EVER END??? :)

Seriously though ARC peeps, thanks for the helpful site. It's taught me a lot of lessons already!

First off, :welcome:

Secondly, I'm truly delighted to see that you found our site to be so helpful in getting your new found passion launched while learning gobbs! :D

As to your question: No, it will never end. And while I hope that your desire to learn never ends, I do hope that you will also try to learn to be content which is really hard to do in this hobby in which its technology is evolving as we find better ways to keep our wards thriving.

I want to believe that when I eventually get to a fully stocked 400 gallon tank, that i will be happy, until that point, I have accepted that I will never have money again.

My name is Chris and Im a Reefaholic. It started about a year and a half ago when I joined Face book, yes Face book. They have this game called Fishville and it was fun,but then it went from a game to the real thing about a year ago,Now its called ARCVille.Im so hooked on ARCVille that just this morning at 4 45 i got up just to check and see how much the water has cleared up in my new 150 gallon setup! After seeing the delightful site of a clear tank I then came to my computer to see if I could find any live rock for the new sump.No luck this morning but I do have a deal set up for some Rock this weekend!Thank you ARCVille I can always get my fix here.

errr... my back story is i bred cichlids (quite by accident initially) and ended up with about 30 tanks.
NOW, i have cut back to 16 cichlid tanks, 3 freshwater tanks and 3 saltwater tanks

this last conversion was a 125 malawi tank to a nice saltwater setup for 3 rotten fish. All my breeding stock of cichlids are gone, and my growouts are trading nicely for frags. one of these days we'll be only salt! ok, not really

but i don't reckon it will end. not any time soon.

Thats cool, I have a malawi cichlid tank also, that I am moving to make room for my new saltwater tank. My cichlids are about 10-11 months old so I am hoping they will start breeding soon. I started out with 36 fish because I figured I would have some dieoff as they grew up, Still got 27-28 of them. 12 yellow labs 9 yellow tail acei and 6-7 rusties.

Thanks all, Sorry for the late reply (between fish tank and computer problems, I was lost for a week). Computer is fixed now, and working on tank. But i did want to let you know I appreciate all the welcomes, replies, and information.
