Do you plan on ever adding any snails as a CUC? Or clams? These creatures are "to go cups" for the last system they were in. No way to get around it.

If so and you do add them, you will never have a "sterile" system and all these measures will leave you at square one after leaving the tank fallow.

I am truly curious why ich is getting the best of you given your experience and equipment. I wonder if there is some weird thing contributing to it that can't be figured out by simply listing equipment and reefing practices. Is the the aquascaping that leave fish with few places to hide increasing stress? I know it seems like a goofy question but at this point, I feel like we have a "HOUSE" situation.

I would give my .02 but my system has been kicked in the nuts by most members. Good luck with your system.

But just as a status update: no ich and everyone is doing well, including my 6 purple queens.

I got the fish out this weekend, but Im kind of on hold for a few days while I decided if I want to take a new job or not. too much stress.
