I picked up one of these from Greg at Optimum Aquarium. Beautiful little fish. Eats flake food like crazy. It is funny to see him in there competing with my purple tang and clowns to grab more than his share of the flake food.

Hopefully he stays on the flakes....the Hawaiians are extremely hard to keep in a tank....unless he's in the GA aquarium....they usually feed solely on parasites from other fish....but if he keeps eating the flakes....enjoy him.....not many ppl can keep them alive....yet another reason I'm suprised they're still in the trade.....gl!!!

yeah i have bought these just to clean a tank of ick they sometimes afterwards pretend to eat brine or what not but eventually starve to death.I 've seen them thrive in huge tanks before though.

These have a dismal survival rate in captivity.

Cleaner wrasses serve an important function on the reef, and IMO should be left there.

I hope yours survives.
