Agree with the above, be sure to read or watch as many videos as you can. A lot (not all) of the stuff that comes up can be prevented with researching.
Have a good understanding of water parameters.
Hiccups and frustrations are part of the growth of your reef tank so don’t get discouraged, although that is sometimes easier said than done.
Finally, have fun! This is a marathon, not a sprint and patience is key in this hobby.
Our goal here is to be an open and welcoming group for new and experienced reefers alike! Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
