Help me pick a light.......

I need a new light to go on my 30 cube. Was planning on ordering a cool new LED light direct from China, but it has a 6 week lead time, plus a week for shipping. 90 watts of LED Pendant for under 200 bucks shipped.

Unfortunately, since I broke the biocube, I don't have 7 weeks to wait.

My back up plan was a LED panel from ebay that has gotten good reviews;

But it's untested and only 48 watts, although I'm not really into a lot of SPS, I do like anemones and clams.

Then, I decided on this;

Within a year, I'd like to move to LEDs, so I don't need it to last that long, just something to tide me over until LEDs are more popular. Note that this unit comes with T5 suplimentation.


Then I found this;

And am now leaning toward this, thinking it might be better quailty, but with no affordable T5 suppliment.

Can someone point me in a good direction here?

Me too! I have been looking around and the more I look the more confused I become. I will be watching this thread to find out what your solution will be.

I like the Current Outer Orbit pendant. The Coralife pendant looks similar but the Current has 3 built in LED's for night viewing. I think they run around 300 or so. Good looking lights though. If I had a cube that's what I would want.

Well, I'm looking for something to tide me over until I can jump on the LED wagon. If it wern't for the LED fixture from China being 7 weeks out, then I'd go with that.

I'm looking to spend less money in the here and now on something I know I'll be replacing in short order
