I have a jbj 14 gal nano and my clown is in the back filter area. he is hiding in the last chamber with the pump. There is a slot that goes under all the other chambers and he is there. what is the best way to get him out. I know he is fine and will eat but the area is very small so when i put net in he hides in the slot. is there a trap i can use or some other trick.he is very small maybe 1/2 inch. thanks ahead of time

Take some filter floss/pillow stuffing. Put small "wads" in one by one. If you make sure he is above the first couple, then he'll have no choice but go up as you put more in... You are making an artificial "floor" that water will still pass through if that makes sense. Once he is forced to be near the top, net him and put him where he belongs, then remove the floss.

I heard the funniest solution today for that exact problem....shop vac. :lol2:I'm not kidding.
