Hydor Koralia Evolution not wavemaker safe?

Today, i noticed two of my koralias are broken, it has the front plastic missing from it that has the rubber bumper. This causes the powerhead to runbackwards. After looking at the Hydor website this seems to be a common problem. Anybody else seen this?

Ive read somewhere that people are having the same problems...I wouldnt use one with it...

I have had two of tem running on my reefkeeper for about 6 months with no problems. Yet......

yeah, im thinkin about keeping the koralia's but no more wavemaker. I really cant afford the mp40's yet

I heard the older K versions had this issue but the new Evolutions were supposted to be wavemaker safe.

The new ones are not making that noise when on a wavemaker but there's a problem and they may run backwards sometime. Hydor is sending out replacement parts for free to correct the problem.

that doesnt stop this part from breaking. ive already got the other replacement part
