Latest 465 Gallon SPS Reef Pictures

Guys,
Here are some pics I took last night. Thought I would share. I am not a great photographer. Pics taken with a Canon T3 DSLR with either an entry level macro lens or a standard 18-55 lens. No photoshopping or processing at all. A bit blue rendition, but close to what you would see in person. Lighting is 4x Radium 400 watt halides and 6x 110 watt VHO UVL Super Actinics.

seriously I love it!

looking fantastic. What I notice is that there is very little if ANY algae growth.. and that your corals go all the way to the bottom! Great looking tank.

I can't wait to see it in a year's time!

BTW I'm a huge fan of this aquascape.. I've done the same thing on a smaller scale...

letting the corals BE the 'scape is VERY cool

Looks great. Are those all 40s? Hard to tell but I thought it may be 1 60 and 2 40s on each side? That is a lot of light. Looks awesome.

The Goldflake and the Blueline seem to be good citizens so far. The only fish I had to remove because of damage to the corals was an aiptasia eating filefish. He was damaging the bases of some corals.

I vote for tank of the decade . Dave, your tank is "Showroom Perfection!" I love the 4 metal halides as i have collected two of these reflectors for my future setup.

I also love how you proven to me that it can be done with a bare bottom tank. Oh btw; I am biased towards a Bare Bottom [tank that is]. I have been two a couple of large aquariums and many fish stores and none of them come close to your current setup.

You should start charging admission for future entrance into see your "showroom quality aquarium". I would pay to see it. No need for me to travel that far to personally see it because you have provided some great photos here. Can ARC charge for this link to your tank when others view this link?
