Local to Macon

I need to know what everyone is expecting, so I can plan a bit better for this. Are we looking to just get together, hang out and put some stuff on the grill?

Is this a small frag swap? I've never been to one, so I need to know if there is anything special I need do for that.

Let me know what the idea is...

I've never been to a meet either, but I presume we use this as an opportunity to meet each other grill out. If anyone wants to bring stuff to sell, give or trade away, I don't have a problem with that personally. My tank is so new, I don't have overages of anything.

Pictures of each other's tanks would be cool to talk about.

I'll bring some brats and buns...

So, I started a thread in the Lounge for the Middle GA meet. Being new to the board, I'm not sure if that's where the best traffic is but I wasn't sure where else to put it. Let's post details there.

Any of you guys in the area have a powerhead you can part with? Maybe even a couple of nanos <$25-30.

..not in Macon, that where. ARC MGA can travel to Destin and talk about tanks while catching Pompano, let us know. I'm planning to drive to Pensacola this summer, so maybe there's a pit stop out your way.

Edit:

Which ones do you like? I wish Macon pets had that stuff.

I just bought 2. I have super high hopes for small size--big circulation. They are the 425's. I also have a Vortec MP10 and a 500g/h (claimed) canister running, so hopefully this gives me the swirling movement i want to keep algae for lingering around.

Sounds great! Let me know where and when? I'm just a street light away in Bonaire.:yay::up::thumbs::)

I am just starting out here in Centerville. I am doing a 200g in-wall tank.

Could you post some pictures on the process you take for your in the wall aquarium?

Pictures of your sump plumbing would be nice. I'm considering converting my garage to my "mancave" with some reef tanks. Preplanning, project is just a thought for now. May start the project in a few years.

I need to get some ideas and drawings down first.

WBRK,

Here is a couple pictures of where we plan to put the tank. The tank will have glass on both sides. The bottom of the DT will be 3-4" above the wainscoating in the dining room. The TV will be mounted above the DT on the living room side. The tank will be in the neighborhood of 200g. I will be able to plumb the tank for water (RO/DI) and sewer from under the kitchen sink to minimize water spillage. I am excited to get started. Lots of planning ahead though. I started planning the tank out using Google Sketch and I will post it as soon as I finish the design for feedback.

That's awesome, so, you're doing this by yourself?
