Dang hate i missed the cookout, just started getting back into it a month or so ago.As far as anomaly's comment on meeting free shipping req. on online orders goes,Ive tried to add some of you local guys to my buddy list since starting back up, feel free to pm me if anyone is thinking of doing an online order from somewhere and needs help meeting the free shipping req. i dont mind going in together on an order if i need something.Im trying to avoid constant trips to atlanta this time around,haha.

Long story, short...I tried my hand at some DIY moon-lighting using some LED X-mas lights, and one end of the string of lights ended up dangling in the water. :doh:
Needless to say, I could see that my alternating house current was working well, as I watched the end of the lights pulsing and fizzing in the water. :wow2:
All of the Xenia (probably 20 pieces) was slumped over like they were just punched in the gut, but my two little Damsels were totally unaffected...I think...their colors might have been a bit brighter. Anyway, none of the Xenia pulled through, and died on the vine, so-to-speak. I believe the silver-lining to this is, it helped kick-start the cycle in this new'ish setup. Oh, and the DIY moonlighting turned out great once I properly mounted it.
Thanks for the offer, Gerry, I'll certainly be happy to re-home it, as I want to have lots of it in this tank. I still need to settle up with you too for the skimmer.

I am coaching my daughter's soccer game in an hour and we are going to take some cars to the Moe's car show tonight. I should be home between those today or tomorrow afternoon. I also have a rock with GSP on it. Both the xenia and the GSP are trying to over run our reef tank. I thought about just putting some of each in the FOWLR tank but I really do not want it taking over that tank. Give me a call or send me a text whenever you want to pick up either or both. If this weekend is bad, no worries, I'll be around in the evenings during the week or whenever.
