PBT going on a hunger strike

I would still recommend testing properly for voltage (without the probe). The probe is not a fix.

As to the tang, was it still grazing on rocks, or not eating at all? If it was grazing, I wouldn't worry - that's normal behavior for them to graze but if it wasn't picking at all, then it's telling you there's a problem.

Yeah, its not picking at the rocks. It occasionally looks like it picks at the detrius on the sand, but thats it. Other than the occasional sand picking, its not eathing anything.

Its also not swimming around the tank like he used to. Before, he would swim around the tank in circles, pick at the rock, etc.... You know, normal fish behavior. Now, he's just sitting about 3" away from the powerhead swimming in the stream.

Maybe he's gone catatonic. I dunno.

Test again for voltage, the correct way. Voltage can interfere with a fish's lateral line organ and that can seriously affect its behavior.

It's possible that something else is bothering it, but I'd test again and at least rule it out.
