Polyp extension

I’ve got good parameters, flow and lighting, however my sps polyp extension is minimal... fish don’t nip and a few extend decently... also good encrusting not a lot of branching... any ideas? I know most of you will say don’t worry because I have good growth but again curious as to why? Also after adding my new lighting starting to see better color but what is a color booster? Thanks everyone, John.

Have you checked them late at night after lights out for a few hours?

Depending on the species it may not get great PE at all. Some do, some don't. In my experience, the addition of amino acids has helped my PE a lot.
