Btw, does that single Orphek bar provide sufficient par over your frag tank?

It's an Orphek OR3 120cm (blue plus), the same ones we have over our display tank flanking the 4 Hydra 26s, just a couple feet shorter. We have since added a 2nd one (day plus model), and have a third (UV/violet) on order from Orphek. The PAR readings I took originally aren't really valid anymore because I adjusted the height and added the 2nd bar. Right under the water with the bar a few inches off the water I was getting 400-600 PAR. It's a deep frag tank though (16") so ~270-350 at the top of the rack directly below the 1 light. After adding the 2nd and spacing them apart I need to grab a PAR meter again and recheck soon, probably this week. The third (UV) will go between the current 2 and fill in the middle. I can post the results after I test it again.
They are about 3" off the water right now. Ideally as we add more strips we can raise them a little more to reduce salt spray.

Economies of scale had us slowly realize ordering in bulk less frequently really does save money in the long run. Our last ESV 2-part shipment arrived in 5 gallon buckets.
