I am planning to buy some reefbreeder led's and was wondering if two of the photon24's would be sufficient for my 210 (6x2x25" to the sand bed)?

I was thinking I could order 90 optics and remove the optics on the ends of the 24's to help spread the light on the ends of the tank.

Thoughts?

I would say so David I have a 16 over my 60 cube and it is more than enough light with no optics

How long is your cube?

Its 24 inches. I have no dark areas and only running my blues at 60% and whites at 50& three hours a day. These lights are a lot more powerful than people think and aren't the photons supposed to put out more than 120 watts.

My 32" reefbreeders covers 48" very well, so I am pretty sure a 24" covers 36" but I'm not certain. There is a post on reef central that u should put this question on. Lots of people with those very lights covering their tanks and could help you out.
