Well if its eurobraced I believe 3/8s would be fine but if its not then I would go half inch to keep it from bowing over time.

My cube is 3/8". You would only need about 3-4" eurobrace.

You would not believe how easy they scratch.. 1 grain of sand in a magfloat and bam nice scratch on the tank.. Made it harder to maintain the visibilty on the front and sides.. Coraline algae.. Good luck getting that off without scratching it

Ok so i got a quote from glass cages and they said 400 or 460 with starfire. which would you do Acrlyic for $345 or glass for 400?

If our set on a custom glass tank then Glasscages would be fine. I would be hesitant on larger tanks but one your size you should not have any problems.
