Spent over 9000 hours with ChatGPT and came up with this. If anyone would like to use it. You can input the parameters on the main tab and it generates charts for each parameter on separate tabs. I'm sure there are a million apps and what not but here's a solution if you want it. It color codes inputs, yellow being 10% or less out of standard range, and yes my tank is a mess as it continues to recover from a vacation time power outtage.

-Edit cant upload spread sheets. If you want it PM an email address and I'll send.

You mean 9hrs talking to the robot come up with this right?!??? Not 9000 hrs -.-

I don’t think it’s that useful my man…. You gonna open up Microsoft excel every time and log?!?

Take a photo and make mental memo~~ or use something like this is probably enough…

The over 9000 is a very old meme from another lifetime lol. Was about 10 minutes of chatting with our future AI overlord. My life is excel spreadsheets, AutoCAD, and land records. So opening up Excel is no biggie for me. The question is will I actually stick with testing? I don't think I tested anything but Alk once a month at most for 2 years leading up to the power outage crash.

I might convert to a Google sheet to save the three steps from my tank to the laptop work station.

I think graphs are great sometimes….. for instance my conductivity was going higher when my salinity was going higher…. Gives me a understanding better now.

My conductivity now. And my corals are happy

Last week and before for few week when I noticed my corals looked uphappy…. I wasn’t paying attention to this chart. But when tested for my calcium level it was above 550 while dkh stayed at 7-8.

I try to log as mulch as possible…. But it’s always extra work you know -.-

I try when I remember. Lol

I considered doing a spreadsheet with my parameters and building some analytics to track changes by % average change per month, annual changes and what any variations there might be. Maybe throw in a seasonal related function to correspond to things like temps and humidity to see if I might be able to identify and possible correlation.

Of course to do that I'd need another sheet with the weather data so that I could build a formula to pull from without having to manually look up the dates and input them. But ugh, my motivation is lacking.

Idk what it says about me but I log my parameters in an Excel spreadsheet every time I test. 😳 Also log every time I make a change to dosing amounts. Gotta be honest, it has been extremely helpful in dialing everything in. I can’t imagine testing and not tracking the data.

Logging informations are defitely helpful. I was saiyng OP's logging program was alot more than neccessary with all the tabs ect...

I use to log on a Large size paper calendar and was right in front of me at the tank all the time. You eventually get to the point of knowing your tank parameters and consumptions. Well, in my case i do... From than, its just matter of keeping important things. I chould post the calendar notes ive taken in the beganning of the tank but its pretty messy and kinda personal. lol

Even at that, if i can go back time and do it again.... I chould of save so much of my time/testing/ money ect... Fun learning :)
