Few changes in the last few days/weeks.
Added a sweet Powder Blue Tang to the gang 2 weeks ago now and these week I added a beautiful Lubbock Wrasse. Color on this fish is just amazing. There was a bit of aggression when I added the tang. The Scopas wasnt too happy. He chased around a bit and I noticed that everyone else got really territorial. Within 24 hrs things claimed down and everyone wasbplaying nice. This past week I stopped at Premier and saw the wrasse. He's small and I was worried that my larger wrasse in the tank would bully the Lubbock. Was told Fairy Wrasse were less aggressive than others so I took a chance. (PS...be sure to ask for the ARC discount when buying livestock at Premier, it helps.)
Once again everyone in the tank got really territorial. This time though it was more the Lyretail Anthias...especially the male. And my a**hole clown fish. I found out though they laid eggs under the anemone. So that makes sense why they were extra nasty.
The larger wrasse I have (forgot the name) gave the new guy NO LOVE. He chased and kept him pinned in a corner of the tank. I was worried but it was close to lights out and I figured things may cool down by morning. Nope. It was still hostile in the tank 48 hrs in now. Good sign was that the new guy was eating and slowly expanding his swimming area. On the third day of war I decided to catch the larger wrasee who is a pig when it comes to food so it was easy to trap him. I placed him in a small acclimation box I had laying around. Held him in to for about 20 mins then let him go back into the tank. Seems the time in the shoe calmed hi *** down cause everyone is cool now. Little guy still stays to his side of the tank but his not being chased when he does venture out.
Besides that...i cut the GSP floating rock off the overflow box. It was creating too much of a shadow. Corals are all doing really good. My hanmers haven't been opening up as much in the last week or so something is off. Just got my new ICP test kit in the mail. I'll be sending that off Monday and should have results in a week or 2.
No water changes since April so Im curious to see results.
Here's a few pics. No filters or edits. Just shot in Pro Mode using a Samsung Note 10+

Thanks.
Tank has been going great but I have had an issue here and there. My powder blue tang got bullied to death. I was too busy with work to notice in time to save him. Shortly after one of my wrasses suddenly died. No signs of illness or injury. Besides that my nutrients bottomed out and i lost a few acans. Luckily not completely, I was able to save a few heads of each. They are slowly making a come back.
I did do a water change in January. Hadn't done one since April of 2021. It was mostly to clean out the sump and siphon some of the sand.
What else have I done??? Oh. I redid my aquascape slightly and scraped off all the coraline algae off the backwall. I also moved the Nero 5 pumps off the backwall and onto the overflow to get better flow behind the rock work which is where I notice was the dirtiest when i siphoned the sand. Lastly I added a Diamond Goby to the tank. He's been keeping the sand super clean but does make the cloud look snowy more than I would like to see.
Heres a new pic of the tank and one of my sump. Since i never posted one.
Havent posted about the tank in a while.
Everything is growing out really sweet. Did lose 2 fish (powder blue and sunburst anthias) besides that tank is on cruise control. I will be fragging really soon.
1) to trim colonies that are at war.
2) i could use the $$ to get into some higher end corals.
