It's been almost a year since I've posted the tank. In the last year I have gotten rid (sold or traded) a lot of coral. I've lost some pieces as we'll for one reason or another.
I would sat the biggest struggle for me has been keeping PO3 from dropping too low. I believe that's the reason I've lost a fair amount of color and/or the coral as a whole.
On the bright side , the tank continues to run with little to no maintenance. I did do 1 water change this year, about 5 gallons just so I could clean out the sump. The refugium was filthy and I had this Skimz reactor I wanted to put to use. So I removed the baffle, cleaned out the sump and installed the Skimz Macroreactor. I also started to run my brs gfo/carbon reactor only during the day when the Skimz is off. It's help keep the PO3 at a decent steady level and I'm starting to see some corals come back. Oh! And I sold my AP700 and upgraded to a A9X .
That's about all that's happened in the last year in a nutshell. I posted a video on the FB page. Couldn't get it to load here.
