Mods, if this is in the wrong forum please move it.

Ok, I believe I am ready to do this (or will be). I plan on tearing down my 45 gallon and setting up my 125 on Thursday evening and I need some help with the heavy lifting. I will have the 45 empty on Thursday afternoon but what I need help with is moving my entertainment system into the next room, moving the empty 125 in place and getting all plumbing put back together so I can start filling it. Plumbing is set up to be a quick assembly (maybe 15-20 minutes).

In reality, the whole thing shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours I am thinking. After that, I can make it on my own unless you want to stay and help me polish off the Ice House. I must warn you, I am not close to anything. LOL I am 30 min from Cumming, Canton, Jasper and Dawsonville. Northwest Forsyth Co. All help would be greatly appreciated and once I can grow some stuff out, I will reciprocate with frags.

PM me or post here if you think you can make it and are willing. I know how life is so if you say you are coming and then can’t make it, I promise I won’t hold it against you (for long). Therefore, I would like to have a few extras just in case.

As always, I appreciate all the help I can get (Lord knows I need it).

Thanks,
Rich

PM sent Kris. Oh and by the way, anyone who can make it, if you have an empty bucket or two bring them. :-) Just in case.

From Flowery Branch you would head west on Browns Bridge. Once you cross GA 400 it is another 15 min west of there. NW Forsyth Co. I am just north of Old Federal Highway where they fly the RC Planes.

Rich I wish I could help please accept my apologies for not being able to help during this week. Good luck and I sure look forward to seeing the completed display

Hey Bill, I completely understand. That is a long haul for you on a weeknight. After all, at your age you need your rest. hehehehe Seriously, I knew it would be a bad night for you and most people for that matter. A weekend would be much better but if I wait until Saturday I doubt I will have the house back in one piece by the time I have to leave for the airport on Sunday. LOL

If something happens and you change to Friday I can be there. I have a troop meeting Wednesday night and Thursday night we have a OA meeting. so if you need any help on Friday night or Saturday afternoon let me know.

Dine, I am pretty open. I will be working from home that day so I once I get my daughter fed I will be ***holes and elbows into it. But, I expect it would be hard for people to make it too early so we would get rolling in earnest between 6:00 and 7:00 I imagine. If anyone is interested, I will pick up some pizzas. Just let me know if you will be hungry or not. :-) At the very least, there will be a couple of 12 packs of Ice House.

I appreciate it. I figured even if you were free on Thursday that would be a bit much to go on a weeknight. :-) But, I will keep you posted on how it goes and may take you up on the offer of Fre/Sat if things don't go well. LOL

Edit:

No problem Jessie. Just think of me when you are ready to buildout out that basement. :-) I need to pay for all this stuff somehow. hehehehe

Bah. Had to be Thursday. I work from home on Thursdays and have to pick up the kids from school.

If the work spills over to Friday afternoon let me know and I can head up there after work. Might also be able to help Saturday afternoon after church.

No problem guys. I have two neighbors who said they could make it and I am waiting on a reply from one other who I think will be able to. I knew that a Thursday night would be a bad idea but...... LOL

RichI thought I would need 4 or 5 people to move that 150 you drilled for me but I wound up moving it with my son and daughter n law. If you can get 2 neighbors involved you will be in good shape. But having said that it sure is a good reason to have a little party and if you have people in the hobby helping with aquascaping and such it sure is a good thing. Would be fun wish I could make it

I agree Bill. If it came down to it, the whole thing could be done with two but having an extra hand is always a big help. Especially if that hand is used to saltwater. LOL I also know that people have lives and sometimes when you get commitments, not everyone can make it when they thought they could. Having more people than you think you will need comes in very handy when someone has to cancel last minute. LOL

But, I don't want people to jump through hoops because they think it won't happen if they can't make it. I won't be the end of the world if it doesn't happen Thursday. :-)

Rich, Do I have you on facebook?

I just did this to my 40g Breeder and that sucker was heavy. Had to leave the sand in it and keep it running to be able to use that again later on. While the joy of having it up and running is awesome, I would not want to move it again except to move to my own house lol

If you were a tad bit closer and it wasnt during the week I would be up there in a heart beat.

I did the move with my buddy from high school so two people can do it... not fun but can be done.

You are definitely a hike Kirru. LOL I will send you a PM with my FB info.
