Tank stand opinions? Considering building something like this for a nano tank.

I was watching a video on n YouTube and was considering building a or a few tank stands in the style of the build in the below video. I may even consider building them for people, at a cost, if the process isn’t too hard. Just wanted the opinion of club members. I would definitely make the height taller to accommodate viewing and a sump.

Racking will be the biggest challenge. If the joints are literally perfect - and with the right adhesive - it would probably be OK. But I wouldn't trust it without something to assist in the prevention of racking failure.

Ability to hold straight downward forces is probably fine - if the aquarium sides were directly over the sides of the stand.
