<span style="font-size: 16px;">Reefkeeping Laws:</span>

<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12px;"></li>
</ol>1. Thou shall research
2. Thou shall not use tap water
3. Thou shall cycle you tank and be patient
4. Thou shall give you tank regular maintenece
5. Thou shall not choose fish based solely on their looks
6. Thou shall not overstock
7. Thou shall not overfeed

8. Thou shall not think of yourself as the exception of the rules AKA don’t buy stock labeled for “experienced aquarists”

9. Thou shall not ridicule people for asking seemingly dumb questions. Unless, you hold a masters in marine biology.

10. Thou shall keep no trade secrets if you learned it or discovered it, share it.

11. Thou shall strive to maintain the optimum parameters

12. Thou shall always follow advice from more knowledgeable members.

13. Thou shall not eat bbq ribs or wings right before placing you hands in your tank lol

Disclaimer: The list above is based on my observations and what I have learned so far. It is intended for fun only and it is not intended to be offensive in any way. I am a newbie and will consider myself so as years pass by until I hold a masters in marine biology (never).

Need to add #14 Thou shall start staking out the bank you will need to knock off as soon as possible to allow time to launder the funds needed to maintain a reef.

#15. Thou shalt take estimated time to complete a reef project and triple it. Thou shalt add two additional hours to thy new project time and STILL go over it.

#16 Thou shalt not commence any maintanance or new project later than noon to allow you to go to bed by 4:00 AM.

#17 Thou shalt quarantine new fish. EVERY TIME.

#18 Thou shalt dip and inspect new corals. EVERY TIME.

#19 Thou shalt resist the urge to ask the same question again and again because thou didn't likest the answer received the first time.

Hey Jenn, on #19 wouldn't it make a diferance if I put I instead of me in the question. That would mean that yes I could put a purple tang in my nano right?

Heh you wouldn't be the first to try it ;) Let me know how it works out for you. That's usually what happens.

"I know you said not to do X, but I did anyway. Can you trade in my *** that's all sick and skinny now, for store credit?" :wow2:

If I had $1 for every time....

Thou shall claim every purchase was either free, donated, traded, won in a raffle or heavily discounted to the eye in the sky ..... Wife.

So does that mean that the Red Plant, Hawkins Blue and Miyagi tort didn't just start growing, released from "spores" that were on the rock.

Yeah... I think I'm going to break that one...repeatedly
