Thoughts on UV?

yeah they pack a big punch for not taking up much space. Thats why I used them to start.

If you want some real punch check out the emperor high output UV's. They go from 80w up to 150w. They are HUGE but me likey.

I have the Pentair Aquatics SMART UV 40 WATT and it works great on ick. I have 6 tangs in my large system, so you can imagine that ick has been a problem before over the years. However, this took care of it and I do recommend them despite being very pricey! But I lost an Achilles tang and other expensive fish to ick, so it is worth it I think...
