Well after putting off sending my test kit for months and months I finally did. Got my first results back.

Areas of concern are low Potassium (356 vs 400), Ca (391 vs 440) and Mg (1273 vs 1370). High Phosphates.

Now what do I do? Run out and buy a dosing system? Do you follow their recommendations by hand dosing or through a dosing system?

I personally would do 6x15% waterchanges over a few weeks with a good salt( I use salinity) it should correct those values(which aren't even that bad). Its never a bad thing to have your system on a doser.

I think an important thing to remember is to not change any of those real fast.

Bring them in line with where you want them slowly over a few weeks.
