I'd like to hear about some of the weird or funny things that happen in your tank... I'll start...

I have a Cowrie snail in my tank that only comes out at night, which isn't the weird part... The weird part is that it returns to the exact same place everyday... For a long time I thought it was dead because all I could see was the shinny shell and it never appeared to move, then one night I saw it on the glass and sure enough the next day it was back to its home...

My foxface will splash me with water if I open the hood and his veggie clip is empty. Then I'll usually hold it above the water and he'll stick his head up out of the water and grab hold. He'll also tear pieces off, drag them in front of the Tunze, then chase it around the tank. Oh, and he blows bubbles...he's a weird fella, but very intelligent, more than I would have thought.

Mine blows bubbles also.. I was behind the tank one day about to feed the fish.. I was splashed with water from no where.. When I mentioned it, jamie started laughing.. Turns out the foxface had spit water out and onto me.. He also hosted coral for a spell..

My cleaner shrimp picks at any human part that enters the tank... Freaks me out but it doesn't hurt or anything and is kinda funny/fascinating to watch.

Yeah, mine will turn his tail and splash. I'm always worried he's gonna splash the MH and blow it out.

"Any human part"... that opens the door

Most folks just keep to hands and arms in their tanks!

Do you dangle your feet in there???! :D

My moorish idol will blow food off of the sand and into the water column. Pretty neat imo. Also my female clown will allow me to touch her.

My regal tears huge chunks off my devils hand leather if i dont keep em fed. he/she drags it all over the tank along with frags.

A couple days ago i saw something floating around that looked like a polyp of a paly or zoo, its happened before so I carefully netted it out, glued it to a fresh frag plug...next day, hasnt opened...next day, hasnt open.....it was nem poop

My cleaner shrimp is an interested party as well - if i get my hand close enough to him, he will jump on it and start cleaning away!

My midas will blow bubbles and then swim up to the top real fast to catch them and pop them! I thought at first that it was just a fluke, but he does it all of the time and it's fun to watch.

I saw my yellow tang crusing around the tank, my old tank, and saw the shrimp had set up his cleaning station a lil too late and passed it. He slammed on brakes and shifted in reverse and got a good cleaning i thought it was hilarious

is it cruel to mount a really small peice of GSP to a snail?? that sounds kinda cool

If I do a drumroll with my fingernails on the glass my neon goby flips out and starts dancing on the glass because he knows he is about to be fed

I saw a member's tank where he had done just that... then the snail crawled into a crevice and died some time down the road. The GSP took hold and now it's an issue to remove. Just food for thought!

LOL! I'm glad you said something. I was thinking that same thing.

LOL... I just mention that because he'll pick at arms as well as hands. He climbed up my arm and was out of the water for a bit last weekend. Bugger is nuts.

I'm sure if I dangled my toes in there he'd give me a pedicure. haha
