I don't have pics but I am sure most of you would know - they are little orangish-brownish square to rectangle looking creatures that keep showing up on my glass. There are lots of them all of a sudden. Any ideas as to what these might be? Will try and get a few pics up tonight.

sounds like flatworms... Can you provide a better description? Shells? No Shells? etc...

NM should have googled before i posted - apparently I have flatworms (red planaria). Taking care of them seems easy enough according to melevsreef.com.

Nailed it I'm good! lol j/k, Could just find a nice wrasse to take care of them, but it's hit or miss if they will actually eat them.

If anyone has a blue velvet nudibranch they were using for flatworms and need to move it on I would gladly take it as i have lots of these things in my tank.

It looked like my Sailfin tang was eating them the other day but I wasn't sure, he was definitely picking at them. I also have a few peppermint shrimp which are said to help but from the sound of it the blue velvet nudibranch is the thing to use. So if anyone has one they were using for this pest and are now rid of it, I will gladly take it and pass it on to the next person who might need it.

Hey, Man... I had a friend here in Mongtomery, AL that had the same problem, and brought a blue velvet nudibranch as well. With all honesty, the flatworms reproduced way faster than the nudibranch was able to eat them. He was definetely eating them. Just not fast enough...

Barry_Keith has a good suggestion on this one to supplement the nudibranch if you are up for it...

I had them for awhile. Kept brushing them off the glass. (Have no idea if that helped or not.) After a few weeks, they went away.

I have a melanurus I was thinking about selling if yoi cant get rid of them. He eats everything!

Wrasses will eat them but you should consider treating the tank as well. Be aware that when they die, they release some nasty stuff in your tank. Anyway, do a lot of research...aefw can be a pain.
