I had a normal flowerpot coral I got from nemos when they were still a sponsor and I had no clue of there life span never again will I not do extensive research on corals. When I got home from nemos I searched up flowerpot corals and I remember my jaw dropping when I saw a video called like the death coral or something lol
Good question @aestheticlibra. I don’t recall that recently, but maybe we traded a long time ago. I’ll see it in person next time I come over... probably after this pandemic, but before the next one 
I think it looks great but can understand that if it didn't have a prominent purple edge...it probably would look fairly mundane.
I assume it died? I think gonis have come a long way since "the early days". There are sooo many too, I can't keep up with the names. There's 3 or 4 different versions of the holy grail goni, which I still don't understand how anyone can just make up a name for something...
I have 2 different "colonies" - a hot pink one from ARC member and a black widow from Nemos. Both appear to be thriving with full extension and growing new polyps.

Nice. Zoas are uber addictive....before you realize it you have like $500 of zoas and they take up about 4 square inches, lol
They sure are. I blame @FutureInterest for fueling my addiction. I have at least 90-100 different types now
