What's your Led light of choice

I have had a Radion over my cube for a year and I feel I need to add one more light, what do you have and how does it work?

I am afraid to say. LOL. I have the MM and I love them. Sure there is better but not for the money.

I have 2 over my 75. I live them. They look just like the mm but dont have the uv chips. Def get a dimable one

Yeah. Like I said, I am sure there are better but not in my price range at the time. They allow me to have a decent tank without worrying about the expense of changing lamps so I am getting what I need out of them.

+1 for now gonna test out the similar unit by reefbuilder on a new tank to compare benefits if any to adding the colored led

Agree with rich. Foe the money u cant beat them. I have better geowth then my buddy with radions!. I like ai if u got the funds. Marine designs has a sweet setup with them on it so u can see what they look like

LOL. Dylan's house is built over an old nuclear proving ground. That is why his are "Radioactive". Hehehehehe. Besides he uses MH.

eShine with solar simulator controller! THEY ROCK!! And you can't beat them for the money. I had MM LEDs and while those weren't bad, these, in my opinion, out perform them. My color is excellent and growth is crazy!! I've grown ricordia, acros, LPS and chalices under mine.

I have an AI SOL Blue over my 60 cube and "like" it. Looks are good but not sure I am getting the growth. ATI is coming out soon with a combo LED / T5. I am sure it will be $ but they make great lights. I will definately buy one when they come out.

If I were spending your money on LED's I'd buy radions.

However, as mentioned earlier in this thread, chalices don't need a lot of light. In fact, I've burned the crap out of chalices with my MM LEDs.

MM is definitely the best "bang for the buck" when it comes to LED, but if you want to go high end, I'd go with Radions.

Also as mentioned above, ATI will be coming out with a hybrid T5HO/LED combo sometime this year. I'm on the waiting list. It will be a KILLER light.

Everyone please go look at Reef Breeders. They are cheaper, and much nicer than MMs.
