Wow.$$$

Man, this is ridiculous! Not on the breeder/seller's end. Good for him, getting all he can. I just can't believe buyers would pay so much even for potential breeding stock.

Good Lord! I had to Google that and see it. At least this way I would have a fish to look at.

Why is this such a shocker to some people. People will lay out $2500 for a gem tang or a couple grand for a fingernail size piece of a chalice. Remember the "My Miami" craze a while back? Personally not my thing but hey if ya got it to spend go for it.

I have to share this..
last night I had a dream.

I was walking under a broken down bridge "like one in The Last of Us"...I looked up and one of these clown fish was swimming right at my head..(yes this was dry land). I simply reached up and gently snatched it from the air between my thumb and pointer finger.

I held it in my hand until I walked to my destination, where I opened up a bag, which was being used to transport a coral I had purchased, and eased the fish into the saltwater.

now, stick THAT in your pipe and smoke it.

Edit: as a matter of fact I've had a LOT of dreams, now that I think of it, where my fish are found just kinda swimming around the room haha

Edit:

The same bidder has both clowns right now.. so yep.. hes thinking babies

I believe the pair went for over $10,000.00.

Auction is over. There was only about 7 or 8 days left when they were posted here.

Yea just one. If I'm not mistaking I think Matt will be posting another round of them again soon.

No complaints here about the free market - it's true, they're only worth what somebody is willing to pay - that pretty much applies to everything.

Way too rich for my blood though.
