Ok so My Xenia / frogspawns was looking good since I added it to my new 160 6 months ago, now it looks fragile and not opened up very good. I did however recently change my Ecotech radons spectrum a little the last week. What light fits best for the softies and Xenia? I have all Sps and very little LPS , with RBTA's. what about tanks parems? what works best for mostly softies? Brain/Anemones/hammers.frogspawns. Is anyone running ECOTECH Radons in our club? what artificial ETG 's do you have to share on a 10 hrs cycle? I run salinity, 1.025 , 420 cal , mag is 1250 , alk 9.0, temp atb 78 to 80 d F

My Xenia seems to like light. I keep it on a high rock as it tends to grow up and this helps me to control its growth. It sits about a foot under the t5s (7 in water, 5 air). It does like salty water adn I keep my tank at 1.025, and tends to favor dirtier water. Of course that doesn't go well with SPS, but I grow that too, it just doesn't grow super fast for me (xenia is happy)

Thanks Franz, My tank stays pretty clean, nitrates are zero

Your tank could be too clean as Xenia is like a weed and favors dirtier water. It is virtually indestructible and usually grows so fast it becomes a nuisance taking over lots of rock work and growing onto glass and power heads.
