Added a yellow wrasse today and my yellow tang is chasing him and has been nipping at him for hours. Will they eventually get along???

Edit: i was more worried about the wrasse being the aggressor.

Lights off for a few days, paste pictures of yellow wrasses all over the tank and change rock work a little. That's about all you can do short term.

+1 @ RJ or...
Drop ya yellow tang in the sump or another tank for a week or two,let the wrasse get use to the tank a lil more then introduce the tang back in... Change a few rocks around...
Worked for me when I added my purple tang...

taped up some mirrors around my tank and now my yellow tang is pissed. He keeps attacking the glass haha. Guess its better than attacking the yellow wrasse.

You should do like this says, the mirror isnt going to do anything but stress the tang out imo

Thats what i was thinking. i guess the lights will be off for the next few days.

Mine get along harmoniously and always have. Always felt it's better to add most tangs last if at all possible.

Im sorry but this made me laugh. I remember as a kid my mother had a beta fish and I would hold a mirror up to it to see it puff up.
