I'm dosing seachem seed and I got some very live pieces of rock I decided to throw in from a healthy system. I hope the addition of seed will help the sponges, soft corals, pods, and brittle stars survive.

nice progress, while I understand the reason and concept of the egg crate under the rock, i'm not a big fan of this method.
reason : the sand that sits in the crate would not get cleaned by sand sifters and would be very difficult to vacuum if you do.
while it works and lots of hobbies do set up like this the sand does not get any movement at all.....just a little positive criticism and my own personal opinion....no need to change anything.
keep it going, waiting to see what's next.

Good point. But I had thought this would protect the glass and make sure no critters get under the sand under the rocks and cause the rocks to shift on them

Rodi system I'm gonna be using

I made it to the Expo , really cool vendors couldn't buy anything though lol. My tank is cycling right now but when it's ready I'll definitely let you know. Thank you :)

Tank is still a little cloudy. Sump is up and running with a filter sock and some matrix in a reactor. I've been having trouble with the flow. The drain can't handle more than a very slow flow it must be how it's plumbed idk. Here are a few shots of the tank.
