I am building a 57 gallon Illuminata that will be primarily SPS. I just finished plumbing (almost). I have an Eshopps R100 sump and a Sicce Syncra 4.0 pump. The pump is also being used for a carbon reactor and a GFO reactor.

Here's the plumbing:

I am trying to decide if I want to get an american DJ 1U power rack (or something similar). I have a RKL controller with 2 PC4's, but I like to use a power supply with a circuit breaker as well. I am trying to save some space in my cabinet for another piece of equipment, like a calcium reactor, but I am running out of real estate.

Here is my equipment list:

Illuminata 57 rimless reef ready
Custom Walnut stand
Eshopps R100 sump
Euro Reef R100 protein skimmer
RKL controller
1 MP10
Aqua Ultraviolet UV sterilizer

Getting:
Carbon reactor
GFO reactor
another MP10

Edit: Ooops, here are the photos:

If you can, make use of your inside cabinet walls for mounting stuff, like PC4s. Calcium reactors can be run in-sump if you have the space. Not a lot of space in those Illuminata cabinets.

What is behind the wall the tank goes up against? Is there the possibility of running anything behind it? I have unfinished basement space behind my 100 gallon, and I have my chiller and my CO2 tank behind it. You can go as far as locating the sump and most of your reactors there as well.

"Nice looking tank. I'd love to see how you fit a calcium reactor under there. Why not just dose calcium?"

It looks like I will be able to fit a calcium reactor in the stand. The Korallin C1502 will fit. I just tapped the return line and put in another "T" with a ball valve.

I want to run a calcium reactor, just because I like gadgets. I can start off dripping Kalk in RO/DI water, but I eventually want a Ca Reactor.

I did mount the PC4's high in the stand. I am basically running my electrical along the top part of the stand and my plumbing and equipment is taking up the rest of the room. I will have to figure out how to put some kind of container for my ATO. That will be tricky.

No room behind the tank. I am only having one power cord coming out from the stand (1 year old twin boys).

Bratliff,
No room under the tank, and no good way to plumb a water line. I think I will be able to squeeze a couple of gallons for an ATO reservoir. RO/DI is close by (laundry room). I can make about 6 gallons over night.

I just installed the American DJ power strip at the top of the stand. It fits pretty good. I have both PC4's from the RKL going into it. I will probably put the pump, skimmer and anything else that does not need to be controlled by the RKL.
