So... doubt anyone want to go back and read the story of this tank, so I’ll just give a run down on the equipment and stuff:
1) patience, no quick fixes
2) no chasing numbers, chase stability
- Tank: Red Sea P500 (4x2x2)
- Lighting: 4x EuroQuatics A1P + AquaticLife T5 Hybrid. LEDs run 12 hours a day, 3 hour ramp up and down. T5s 6 hours a day. 350 PAR at peak setting midway in tank.
- Monitoring: Reef Angel Aquarium Contoller
- Flow: 3x EcoTech MP40 (ReefLink for Control) + Current eFlux 6010 return
- Supplement: Vertex Rx-6D Calciurm Reactor + Carbon Doser CO2 Regulator + Kamoer FX-STP for continuous dosing
- Nutrient Control: Vertex Alpha 200 Skimmer + BRS 1.1 (Vodka/Vinegar Dosing 6.6ml per day) + 3x Marine Pure Blocks + BRS Reactor w/ Carbon + 2x Vertex RX-U 2.5L & Sicce 1.5 (feed pump) filled with SeaChem Matrix running low flow
- Temp Control: 3x temp probes through Reef Angel + 2x 100W Eheim Titanium Heaters
- Maintenance: Bi-Weekly 20G water change w/ sandbed vacuum, Every 3 weeks change out carbon/gfo mix.
- Tank Parameters: 1.025 SG, 78-78.5 degrees, Alk 8.1-8.3 dKH, Calcium 420 - 430 ppm, Phosphates .01 - .03 ppm, Magnesium 1600, Nitrates 10-25.
- Test Kits: Hanna for Alk & phosphates, Red Sea for Mag and Calc, and Salifert for Nitrates

Started it beginning of August 2018. First corals a few months later as frags as you can see from the first post. So, tank itself up and running 1.5 years while corals are about 1 yr 4 months, just about?
I have a few people that still thinks I'm lying and there is no way I got that the growth I did in this time period, but whatever helps them sleep at night.
