I’ve been thinking about putting a mesh lid over my tank to keep the jumpers in, but I’d like it to look neat and not block too much light. For those of you who have built your own lids, what materials did you use? Did you go with screen frame kits from the hardware store, pre-made kits from BRS, or something else? How did you handle cutouts for cables, overflow boxes or auto-feeders? Any photos or build threads would be appreciated. I’d like to hear about lessons learned and any design tweaks you would make if you were to do it again.
