The clowns we won at the BBQ had adjusted well from what iv seen and they have eaten very well , no signs of sickness but yesterday the female started lieing down in a clam shell , she is not dead but I'm not kidding myself she's on the way out and there is nothing more we can do.
Her male won't leave her side and my main fear now is will I loos, him once she goes.
My water parameters are
1.025 salinity , ph 8.2, 80.7degrees, nitrates and nitrites show zero , phosphate .05 , cal 430 ,mag 1320. Dkh 9 . Nothing has changed and all other inhabitants look healthy and chipper
I'm not blaming anything or myself , but I just wish there was something I could do.
I turned off the pwr head and dropped some mysis on her and she ate one little piece without ever getting off of her side.
Would it be better for the mate to remove her now ? Qt just seems like a waste of time , I don't give her an hour or 2 , but don't want to be to pre mature.
I guess some creatures cant handle captivity
