I have a pair of clowns in a tank with 6 nems and they host in zoas
I hate that! I have a trio of clowns that are hosting my dragon soul tour here. Torch seems happy so I will let them be I suppose.
If you recall I previously made an impulse buy on a 2” maxima clam which didn’t make it. Ever since I’ve been looking to buy another one but really hesitant. I don’t really like the look of derasa and blue squamosas are super pricey.
If you haven’t figured it out I walked into Nemo and saw 5 croceas and spent 30min in there reading about them. They were a good size ~4” but there isn’t much info on them. And a lot of the info is conflicting. Anyhow I decided to try my luck again.
Anybody with any experience on these guys feel free to chime in

I’ve got it on the sand bed which is getting around 130+ par. If it starts looking weird, I’ll slowly move it up. Nemo said the keep them around 150 for about 3 weeks and they seem healthy.
From what I read they are supposed to be light hogs so we’ll see.

Clam is still alive and well as far as I can tell. Clowns were trying to host it and I had to chase them off several times.
Finally pulled the trigger on a space invader pectinia. I’m waiting to see how long the sweepers are...I’ve seen some scary photos & videos.

Sorry to hear about that torch.. but that space invader makes up for it! Had no idea about the sweepers, I just picked up a frag of this tonight so good to know
Nice - chalice or pectinia? Where'd you pick one up locally?
I've got both - I haven't seen any sweepers on the chalice at all. In fact, nothing happens with it lol.
The pectinia plumped up this morning, but I didn't see any sweepers last night. Two sides are close to the glass and I've given it about a 4in radius on the other 2 sides.

I have been trying to get a piece of Hui's Pectinia for a while now and finally had the opportunity last night. Came into tank room this morning and the 2-3" frag had 4" sweepers out

Any updates? 
I've been going through a slump - a couple of torches melted which peeved me a little but its more of a "huh?" than anything else.
My NYK melted after 141 days on 09/29/20
My DS melted after 140 days on 8/18/20
The only thing I could figure was low nitrates so I've been playing with dosing nitrates (stump remover) to see.
But the maybe low nitrates might not have been the cause because I have the worlds ugliest green torch that is thriving while the expensive suckers died.
All of the other parameters are within range. Everything else looks good and poofy.
Space Invader has been behaving. Hammers & Frogs are splitting.
Clam seems happy.
The Gonis are a bit temperamental. I haven't been able to figure out what causes them to retract and/or extend - it just seems so random. I have 13 and at any given time half will be retracted and half extended. And then they switch back and forth.
