Chapter 2: 50g Lowboy LPS

The clown is now hosting the aussie gold.
I'm not sure if the torch likes the company or not...

And my aussie took a turn for the worse :( One of the heads is almost gone. Not brown jelly or anything like that - just tissue recession :(

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup. Luckily Simon didn't charge me THAT much for it. Still pisses me off. I've moved it to another spot of the tank and we will see what happens. All my other torches are fine :(

Aussies still doing good as far as I can tell.
My alk fluctuates from 7.4-8.4ish but I've been trying to keep it more stable.
I've also been dosing nitrates to just keep them above 0

Update. Got rid of a lot of stuff but it still seems pretty full....
Recently picked up a NYK torch (probably wild) and an ultra crocea.
I've sort of got it dialed in so the acros are really showing good PE and growing a bit better.

Just a few updates -
My onyx Picasso pair went through a rough patch and ended up not making it. It really bothers me when fish die, even cheap fish.
Anyhow I was a bit depressed for a while but finally went out and bought a pair of black ocellatis clowns.
And then a week later added a pair of Picasso clowns, which honestly don’t look like Picasso’s. The 4 got along well but then I got paranoid and thought I needed more for a harem...and added a subzero & a black snowflake.
So I’m still a little paranoid with 6 clowns so I’m going to add a couple of davincis sooner rather than later to make it 8. Hopefully it works out.
They’re all hosting my 8” derasa at the moment. No squabbles yet.

So I’ve been using these cheap sunsun power heads...they’re less than $10 and I had 4 of them in the tank. I recently bought a jebao slw20 and man...much better than the sunsuns, lol.

I’ve also added to the cpvc forest because I don’t understand the word moderation.
