What is the minimum photoperiod for a tank lit by LED with:
montiporra
candy canes
acans
Lithophyllon
polyps
leather
mushrooms
cup coral

Have a problem with hair algae and want to cut it back to bare minimum photoperiod..

salinity 1.023
ph 7.9 (this may not be correct)
alk 300
Mg 1500
nitrate, nitrate, ammonia 0
phosphate could not detect

Short answer - it depends ;)

How much are you feeding, and how often? (include fish and coral foods).

Alk 300? Usually measured in meq/L (ie 4-6) or dKH (ie 8-11).

What test kits are you using?

Feeding fish small amounts daily its all cleared quickly.

Dont fee the corals at all.

Run phosguard in filter with polyfilter pad

The tests were run by a good LFS.
 
Depending on the type of lighting you can cut it back to 4-6 hours. Keep an eye on your corals, they'll tell you if it isn't enough.
