I picked up 2 ecoxotic white/blue combo module's today from a fellow reefer on here.

I honestly was skeptical and for a while had been planning on going with the cree xre diy led's but after I put these over my tank all my doubts and concerns vanished.

I couldn't imagine needing any brighter light than these. In fact im almost convinced I could get away with just one of these on my tank and I would be just fine :D

Here are a few quick cell phone shots I took

Looks nice! Bright all the way down!

Also, nice job stacking those rocks. Looks great! Did you bond those together somehow? Or just a balancing act?

How did you mount them just curious... I have 2 over the 34g but i did a retro fit into the canopy and upgraded the moon lights to an extreme LED

Its a little of both I tried to do a complete aquascape with drilling through the rock and using some smaller coat hangers I found but they were kinda on the brittle side. I basically did a kick stand method on the stack of rocks on the right and the rest are just stacked. I got tired after about 3 hours of drilling rock and I was having a hard time with it so I just did what I could and balanced the rest

Looks nice. Let us knnow what kind of long term results that you get with the LED fixture....

Will do I have a good feeling im already getting great response from my pink lemonade frag

Its nothing fancy I uploaded some pics to show you but basically I cut a piece of scrap wood I had laying around took the old reflector I had laying around from my aquapod beat it with a hammer screwed into wood took the lights and mounted them to the reflector through the wood with screws. Took two more smaller pieces of wood added them to each end took and split a piece of pvc to create a channel that holds the lights on top of the tank and keeps them from sliding off. Its not the best but it will work for now until I get a chance to do a real canopy

Could you let me know if the look is too white for you? Would it be ok to go with an all blue one and a mix on the other strip?

yeah i have full LED for my 24gal cube. Fits perfectly. Youre able to keep anemones and corrals with yours? Ive been told LEDs arent strong enough for them?
