Be patient, I have been wanting a pair of picasso's or snowflakes for awhile. Just take your time and make sure you are happy with the coloration.

Yah I am they are great looking fish man. Are those going to get more black fill in as they get larger or will they pretty much stay that way

The black should fill in a little bit more. I hope the coloration stays the same as it is truly a stunning pattern and color at the moment.

LOL. Crazy because everyone who saw them wanted them at the meeting....I'm surprised no one offered me anything for them. I had more then a few people eye balling them.... Geoff you need to get pair, they look so incredible in the tank.

Well got the sump back from Chris today and there is still a small little leak. I should have it fixed here soon. Of course I made a thread asking if anyone local has any Weld-On 16 that I could borrow but no luck. And yes that's a MRC MR2 in there. :D

Edit: Ok I got the sump fixed and there is no longer a leak period. YAY! And I just got home from HD with all of my plumbing needs. Should has this bad boy up and running tomorrow.

Well here is a current video of the tank. After the whole SPS die off where I lost all of my coral...Well the fish list is as follows: Orange Shoulder Tang, Blue Regal Tang, Snowflake clowns, African Midas blenny, Blue spotted lemon peel angel, Blue throat trigger, Lyrtail female anthias, African cleaner wrasse, Moorish Idol, Blue spotted jawfish (I know he was in a container but now he has a much nicer room with sand and rock just for him). My plans are to add a few more fish, those would be a pineapple fish, flame wrasse pair, Vanavatu Copperband and maybe some other rare/nice wrasse that I come across.

IMO, you have too many fish already as it is.... looking at your video they are already out of space to swim, especially the tangs. They seem a little frantic.

With all due respect, that tank is already way too crowded. You fail to mention you also have a foxface in there too. Personally, I would pick ONE of the larger fish you have and get rid of the rest.

Also, you're running bare bottom, I see. how are you keeping your jaw fish?

Edit:

You beat me to it, i was watching the video. I thought tangs needed open areas to swim

MRC MR2. I have plenty of open space for my tangs....I have seen much more crowded tanks then mine. I am keeping the Blue spot in a acrylic tank I made for him with sand and rock just for him.

Good news on the bluespot. Keep in mind, they like cooler temps. Having said that, I've seen tanks more crowded than yours as well, but that doesn't make it right or healthy for the animals you keep. All you have to do it watch your tank for a minute. Though the tangs may look to you like they're happily playing around, I'm guessing they are in panic mode most of the time. I keep a small (2.5") yellow tang in my 4ft tank, and I even feel off and on about that. Once he gets bigger, I'll rehome him and may or may not get another.

You have 2(?) good size buggers in there along with a foxface which looks to be pretty large. You can choose to take the advice I'm sure you'll get from 98% of the people on here, or you can go it on your own. Just don't expect much sympathy when you crash and haven't headed the warnings of others. I'm guessing it's a matter of WHEN you crash, not IF.

Nobody will judge someone for making a mistake and trying to correct it. But if you've been given proper husbandry advice and choose to ignore it. Well, I don't know what to tell you.
