My 33gal build, NEWBIE so be easy?

well i just put like 6drops in and about 20-30 copa pods staring floating around, my mandrian was look pretty bad, now he is nice n plump, i think that i could probaly last about 2-3 months

well considering that i only got 150w till friday or monday when my 400watt comes in it is very long

wow your putting a 400 watt on a 33 gal i hope you have a auto top off if not you should get one cause your going to have aloy of evap jmho you can get one at aquabuys and for pretty cheap look
merchant.mvc

ouling was tellin me the other night that i could probably get one for about 30bucks, no i just need to kinda figure out how big of a holding container i am gonna need to keep topping it off, i fig when u r fairly new at this stuff atleast i know of one problem i wont have with this tank is lighting and flow, other than that i need some more books

well that is a very nice one for a little more, but the way my stand is i have no room for a really big supply of water (tank is n the living room) or maybe that will give me another reason to add on to what i have got, have always wanted my own frag tank HEHEHE

well im going to give you this bet of advice being that im new too take it slow cause if you rush into thing you run into the problems twice as fast and you should know this by haveing had freshwater setups only with reefs its alot more coasty well good luck yeah you can get one for about 30 but a ro/di will coast about 150 for a good one from like aquabuys or the filter guys or you can waite and see when one of the members is selling one

Ok here is the deal i want to have a perfect tank for zoas, want rare ones and i would like them to grow amazingly fast, got 800gph and 400watts on my 33 cube, can someone that has some amazing growth from there zoas give me there dosing routines and paramaters at this time, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

Mine green zoathids grew from 3 polyps to 7 polyps in 2 months. They need a stable location, which means you don't move it at all, and alot of light. Thats it, nitrate and water qaulity have very little to do with them. Some nitrate in the tank may even encourage growth.

So if u got some decent Zoas for sale (ie Very colorful) let me know...all i want is a rare zoe and frogspawn tank....not really but two of my most fav coral anyways

Also got like 9 diff frags of crazy azz zoas but with the shat azz camera unable to take pics that would show the color but amazing anyways, at got an amazing creca clam bout 5-6in...and god no's what else

i won...tryed injecting concentrated lemon juice in the majono 3 diff times, did nothing, next step boiled the hell out the rock, majono gone, algae problem invested n a diamond sleeper goby, woke up the next moring to a perfectly clean white sand bed

just met a hole bunch of really good guys off of here n now my girl is just as bad as i am in it so we just disaperred the past two weekends going all over ga getting deals and getting help now i dont feel so lost in the dark though the light aint all the way on, just feel alot better bout our tank now

as for hte zoas, it seems that fragging them encourages new growth as well. dont be surprised if they change colors in your tank after getting them from the store, zoas morph colors sometimes with enviornment changes.
