We need to support the sponsors and when we have a dissatisfied outcome of doing business with a reef store; the best solution is to handle [it behind closed doors] as Ryan has previously stated. If we [tear them down] is a lose / lose for everyone.
The sponsor loses as well as the purchaser. If the situation gets blown out of proportion and the sponsor loses potential customers and enough losses shuts the store down. I do not have a business background, but you want more sponsors then just a limited few. More competitive sponsors in an area will drive down the costs to the consumer. Start closing down some of the sponsors and you will see a direct reflection in the cost to you; the consumer.
Many years ago, I purchased a pack of 3 1/2 inch floppies for my computer. When I opened the package, 3 of the 10 disks were bad. I took the time to write the company and explained the situation; while most would have just probably threw the 3 disks away. The company contacted me and requested if I would send the 3 bad disks back to them. I agreed and they sent me a package with labels to send the floppy disks back to them at their expense.
About two weeks later, I received a nice "thank you" letter in the mail along with a brand new full package of floppy disks. Every floppy disk worked as advertised.
